Cost: Free Learn about a unique collaboration in the 18th Judicial District, Colorado that brings a multi-disciplinary approach to identifying and resounding to youth who have indicators of being commercially exploited (trafficked) sexually or for labor. The High Risk Victim (HRV) multi-disciplinary team (MDT) utilizes a screening tool in order to identify, and recover victims and those at risk of Human Trafficking. The MDT is comprised of several professionals who work within the Juvenile Justice System and possess a unique involvement and skillset, represented from agencies such as the Juvenile Assessment Center, Department of Human Services, Pre-Trial Release, Probation, Guardian ad Litems, the FBI, the District Attorney’s Office, Law Enforcement representatives, and service providers. The shared goal of the MDT is to recover victims and provide safety and services, as well as gaining successful prosecutions of all perpetrators and traffickers.
