We are proud to share that this February 2025 marks the National Assessment Center Association’s 5th Anniversary! To celebrate, we’ve published a comprehensive 5-Year Nonprofit Report, highlighting our progress, milestones, and the impact we’ve made in the Assessment Center community.
Over the past five years, NAC has:
- Supported the launch of 15 new Assessment Centers, serving over 4,000 youth.
- Educated more than 1,500 Assessment Center staff through our trainings.
- Hosted our first in-person symposium in 2024, a milestone event fostering innovation in youth justice and child welfare.
About the NAC: Founded in 2019, the National Assessment Center Association (NAC) has been at the forefront of supporting Assessment Centers across the nation. Thanks to the financial support from the 18th Judicial District Juvenile Assessment Center in Colorado, NAC became fully operational in 2020, paving the way for collaboration and shared innovation in the field.
Our work is grounded in best practices in diversion and prevention, and we’ve developed essential tools and partnerships to enhance the operations of Assessment Centers.
