We’re thrilled to announce that the National Assessment Center Association’s 2nd Annual Assessment Center Symposium will be held Wednesday, July 23 – Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Hilton Polaris, just north of Columbus, Ohio! Join us for two days of insightful discussions and an optional third-day for tours of surrounding assessment centers where you’ll learn about the impactful ways they’re serving the community.

 The Call for Workshop Proposals is now open! Our 2025 theme is "Innovative Practices and Partnerships to Bridge the Gaps."

If you’re ready to share your expertise and experience, we invite you to submit a workshop proposal. Presentations will be 60 minutes with an additional 15 minutes for Q&A (75 minutes total), and we welcome topics that are inclusive of youth and families with lived experience, particularly addressing equity in access to community-based supports and justice diversion.

 Assessment Center Presentations:

If you are an existing or developing Assessment Center, we encourage you to highlight your work in the following areas:

  • New or innovative community/system partnerships
  • Data-informed decision-making or data-driven innovation
  • Youth and family partnerships
  • Successes and challenges in Assessment Center development or expansion
  • Approaches to reduce racial and ethnic disparities
  • Adapting to change (leadership, partnerships, system practices)
  • Staff recruitment and retention strategies
  • Funding and sustainability efforts
  • Overcoming transportation or service access barriers
  • Effective “marketing” of Assessment Centers
  • Leveraging technology to serve youth and families

Additional Expertise Welcome!

We encourage submissions from experts in field that can support Assessment Centers and their communities in the following areas:

  • Youth and family engagement
  • Screening and assessment processes and tools
  • Case management approaches
  • Strategies to increase protective factors in youth and families
  • Expanding community and service provider capacity
  • Staff development and support
  • Continuous Quality Improvement
